Hikes, excursions, and the educational courses comprise the complementary portion of the Mechina program routine. These weeks are divided into field trips and educational programs. We spend time in the outdoors getting to know our Land, Eretz Yisrael, extensively, including its geographical and human landscapes. The educational courses offer insight in dealing with physical, mental, and educational challenges. Spending time outside, nature, the quiet, and the common experiences with people and newly encountered population sectors allow us to meet and experience ourselves and our fellow participants anew.
