The pre-army Emek preparatory program (Emek being the Hebrew acronym for City, Moshav, Kibbutz), is a framework for the study of Jewish identity and social leadership.
Program participants represent the full spectrum of Israeli society. Connections forged, conversation and discourse, working together, and the day-to-day life create bonds that last the entire year.
Hikes, excursions, and the educational courses comprise the complementary portion of the Mechina program routine. These weeks are divided into field trips and educational programs.
